Always good simple Hessian cuisine, very fine cider

Gigantic cozy, great apple wines and down-to-earth food.

Nice restaurant. Very friendly and funny waiters. Was there with a large group and everyone has fun. ate fish and it was delicious.

Were there yesterday, Saturday, came to a table where other guests had just got up and the table was not cleaned (Corona?). Food came very quickly, which is more reminiscent of a fast food restaurant. The explanation follows when you go to the ladies toilet whose window probably leads into the backyard where the kitchen is and you hear the microwave beep at least 5 times in 3 minutes. Even when it comes to Corona, everything is more apparent than real. See the point with the cleaning of the table but also the waiters either do not wear the mask or wear it incorrectly. Äppler is delicious but a visit to this restaurant is not recommended.

Local place with great aphfelwine

As has been the case for many years: funny service, delicious knuckle of knuckle, tasty ppl ... short distance to the bus stop .... everything was great.

There was a mouse in the hall where we had dinner and the worst thing is that the waiter made fun of us when he was pointed out. Average food in Frankfurt, they don't have beer.

One of the few original cider restaurants that still press. Best bottle, good food and beautiful garden, hardly any tourists. They won't find it!

This is definitely not for vegans. Just my taste. Hearty German cuisine. And of course who likes the Appelwoi.

Traditional and quietly located Frankfurt cider restaurant, directly at the Louisa train station. Inexpensive and good original Frankfurt cuisine, served by very attentive and friendly service staff

Decent Apfelwein, good service, but the food wasn't great. I had schnitzel and the meat was decidedly average, although the sauce and the rest were good, I was just a little disappointed.

Appel wine tavern with tradition, which really still presses itself (not a matter of course even in Sachsenhausen today). Service attentive and friendly. Food (Frankfurter Schnitzel) very good.

A little more remote and therefore nice and quiet. Food and Ebbelwoi are great.

Despite the house being full, the visit was still made possible. Green sauce and beech escalope, both a pleasure. We are happy to come back.

Friendly and delicious. Homemade beer, grilled sausages are not spicy and delicious. Three people with drinks were good for 50 euros with a tip.

Local place with great aphfelwine (ciderl and excellent local dishes. The meat platter was truly monumental.

I really enjoyed the Apple wine and the traditional ceramic pitchers. The food was delicious as well. I enjoyed the Berlin style liver with mash potatoes and apple slices on top, as well I really liked the hot sauerkraut.

Love this place. Been going there for ~40 years and hope to come back for another 40. We had Rippchen mit Kraut und Kartoffelpüree and a 5'er Bembel Apfelwein.

A typical Apfelweinwirtschaft at the nearby wooded area invite you to go for a walk followed by a meal in the Buchscheer. Food around the service impeccable. I especially like the 3er Senior Bembel. We will be back!

We loved this place! Best schnitzel that I have had so far! So thin, crispy outside but tender inside. I don’t like to drink Apfelwein usually but their homemade Apfelwein somehow is so much tastier. We spent some nice time in their garden in early spring sunshine, relaxing, drinking and eating:)

Just great! Super tasty dishes. Everyone will find something there. Good price for money. Cozy cider house with beer garden and parking directly in front of the house. Always well attended. Possibly. Reserve when you come with several people. Staff friendly and fast. It was a pleasure.

One of the few original apfelwein places left. Very cozy environment, extensive menu, several apfelwein varietals to choose from. Even offers ceramic pitchers of their house apfelwein for families and groups.

I visited here with my German colleagues for a team dinner and they were almost successful in creating a good hype about the delicious food which I am gonna have. Especially about the Kräuter Sauce and all. But I regret for choosing grilled chicken and normal bread as my dish. But the apple wine is super nice and I loved the sourness also.

Definetly a MUST for who wants to enjoy the Frankfurt/Sachsenhausen experience. Good food, they even serve in-house made traditional "Apfelwein". If you're, for example, two persons on a table of five, don't be surprised when two more clients which you don't know are seated next to you; this is part of the local "Frankfurt experience" :)

The food is fine, but if you're looking for a typical German place expecting a good selection of beers then don't go here; there's one beer on the menu and when we went, it was all out.

Best Apfelwein there is! And it is 10 Euro for a cold wine in a bag canister! If you are thirsty at home or whatever...
